From July 2020 all Landlords in England must have a valid DEICR (Domestic electrical installation report). This must be carried out by a suitably qualified, competent person.
If no issues are found then the DEICR will be valid for 5 years or until change of occupancy.
For owner occupied properties the timescale is every 10 years , recommended due date or change of occupancy.

They take between 3 to 4 hours to carry out.
How much does an DEICR cost?
They start from £180 for 6 circuits (small flats), then £20 per ciruit thereafter (up to a four bedroom property), larger properties (POA) please call to discuss.
What does the inspection involve?
The test and inspections are carried out in accordance with the latest edition of the wiring regulations BS 7671 18th edition and under the IET Guidance note 3.
